Prof. Liang Ding Harbin Institute of Technology, China
Liang Ding is a professor at the State Key Laboratory
of Robotics and System, Harbin Institute of Technology. He is a recipient of
the National Natural Science Foundation of China for Distinguished Young Scientists
(NSFC-JQ) and the National Natural Science Foundation of China for Young
Scientists (NSFC-YQ). His research focuses on the fundamental theories and key
technologies of mobile robots in complex environments. He has led over 50
national key R&D projects, national high-quality development projects, and
major national science and technology special topics. He has published more
than 230 papers in journals such as Science, Nature family of journals, IJRR,
IEEE TRO/SMCA/TCyber/TIE, MMT, etc., including over 150 SCI papers, with a
highest impact factor of 25. His work has been cited more than 5,000 times on
Google Scholar. As the first author or corresponding author, he has published
six cover papers in journals like Science Robotics and National Science Review,
three ESI hot/highly cited papers, and four papers that received best paper
awards at conferences/journals. He has co-authored five books, including Design
of Lunar Rover Mobility Systems, Analysis and Engineering Applications
of ROS2 Source Code etc. He holds 120 authorized or pending patents,
including 6 U.S. patents. His methods have been applied to planetary
exploration robots such as the Yutu series lunar rovers, the Zhurong
Mars rover, and field heavy-load legged mobile robots. He has received the
First Prize of Provincial Natural Science (Rank 1), the ISTVS
Sohne-Hata-Jurecka Award (awarded globally once every three years, first
Chinese recipient), the Xiong Youlun Zhihu Outstanding Young Scholar Award, and
participated in winning the Second Prize of the National Technology Invention
Award, the China Patent Silver Award, and four First Prizes in Provincial and
Ministerial Technology Invention. His academic service includes roles as Chair
of the ISTVS International Conference, Associate Editor of ICRA, Editorial
Board Member of multiple SCI journals, and Committee Member of various
professional committees.

Prof. Xiaohu Zhou Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences, China
Xiaohu Zhou serves as professor (Doctoral Supervisor) in Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He is a recipient of National Natural Science Fund for Excellent Young Scientists Fund Program, a member of the Youth Innovation Promotion Association of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and was selected for the first batch of the “Talent Assistant to Special Researcher Program” of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. He has also been named the “Distinguished Research Fellow” of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. His main research areas include Endovascular robots, tactile bionic perception, and intelligent image navigation. He has published over 60 academic papers in the field, including 16 in IEEE Transactions (11 as first/corresponding author), and 18 in top-tier conferences like MICCAI, ICRA, IJCAI, and AAAI. He holds 3 authorized international PCT patents and 23 China invention patents. He has National Excellent Youth Science Fund, Youth Fund, CIE-Tencent Robotics X Rhino-Bird Focused Research Program, Beijing Science and Technology Program, Regional Joint Key Fund, and sub-projects of the China National Key R&D Program. He has received honors such as the “President's Special Award” from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the “Best Paper Award” from IEEE RCAR 2022/2023 (for two consecutive years) and ICBIR 2023, “Best Paper Finalists” from IEEE ICRA 2020 and CME 2017, and the “Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation Award” from the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence and Chinese Association of Automation.

Professor Liu Haitao is a doctoral supervisor, an outstanding young teacher in higher education institutions in Guangdong Province, an outstanding scholar in Nanhai at Guangdong Ocean University, the leader of innovation teams in ordinary universities in Guangdong Province, a member of the Teaching Guidance Committee for Mechanical Fundamentals Courses in Undergraduate Universities in Guangdong Province, and the Vice Chairman of the Mechanical Application Professional Committee of the Chinese Tropical Crop Society. Professor David BASSIR is Distinguish professor (Changjiang scholar Program) at Dongguan University of Technology at the Sino French Institute. He is also Head of Smart Structural Health Monitoring and Control Lab (SSHMC). and Expert at European Commission For Research Funds. He is also President of the Sino- French Association for Science and technology. Before joining DGUT, He was Professor in France at University or Technology UTBM and Also Senior researcher at ENS- Paris Saclay University. And before that he was, dean at the University of Lorraine (France), Attaché for Science and Technology at the French Embassy (China), General Director of Research at the ESTP (Paris) and Space Craft engineer at different space agencies such as Arianespace and Astrium Group. He has published more than 150 papers in Sci journals, books, indexed conference proceedings and patent. He supervised over 14 Phd and 34 Masters Students. He contributed to several research projects in France, in Europe and in China. His main research activities are based on Structural optimization, Composites, Multiscale modelling, Smart buildings and Advanced prediction using artificial intelligence. He is also Editor-in-Chief of the Int. journal IJSMDO (EI) and also Scientific editors is few international journals.
