The inaugural Academic Committee Meeting and Forum of the Key Laboratory of Advanced Manufacturing Intelligent Technology, Ministry of Education (March 6, 2022) — The hybrid event, co-chaired by Director Kang Shouqiang and Academician Deng Zongquan, brought together committee members, university leaders, and core lab researchers for in-depth discussions on lab development strategies, expert recommendations, and national strategic needs. Sub-forums, moderated by Professor Liu Xianli and Professor Jiang Bin, featured renowned domestic and international scholars sharing insights on advanced manufacturing intelligent technologies, attracting over 1,200 online viewers. The Second Advanced Manufacturing Intelligent Technology Forum (December 29, 2023) — With an opening address by Vice President Chen Qingguo, the conference gathered 300+ experts, industry representatives, and young scholars to explore cutting-edge advancements in intelligent manufacturing. Experts shared case studies on industry challenges and opportunities, with active participation from 13 leading enterprises. The university presented progress reports on key research projects, deepening industry-academia collaboration and promoting research commercialization. In their closing remarks, Professors Liu Xianli and Jiang Bin emphasized the lab’s commitment to integrating education with equipment manufacturing, contributing to China’s high-end equipment industry development.
The Third Symposium on Mechanical Engineering and Advanced Manufacturing Intelligent Technology (January 10–12, 2025) — Chaired by Dean Zhang Yuan, the event assembled 300+ participants, including scholars, industry delegates, lab members, and young researchers, to discuss frontiers in intelligent robotics and advanced manufacturing. Featuring keynote reports by global experts on interdisciplinary mechanical engineering breakthroughs, the symposium hosted two themed forums—”Intelligent Robotics & Power Transmission” and “Advanced Manufacturing & Smart Equipment”—with 30+ high-quality presentations. Over 80 technical experts from organizations like the National Forestry and Grassland Administration Harbin Forestry Machinery Institute, CSSC 703 Research Institute, and AECC Harbin Bearing Co., Ltd. engaged in-depth, fostering industry-academia-research synergy and injecting innovation into regional industrial transformation.
